Société Générale announces the appointment of Subra Suresh as Chairman of the Group's Scientific Advisory Board effective 1any February.

This appointment follows the announcement of the establishment of this new advisory body in the Group’s strategic roadmap, in line with Société Générale’s ambition to become a leading bank in terms of ESG and sustainable development. As Chair, Subra Suresh will assist the group in establishing and eventual composition of the Scientific Advisory Board.

The aim of this body is to provide advice to public management based on scientific approaches regarding the main trends that will influence the activities of the Group in the coming years, by adopting a comprehensive and long-term perspective on the issues facing the Group. He is an elected member of several science and engineering academies.
