Triple H talks about CM Punk’s return to WWE

A big surprise during WWE Survivor Series 2023 with CM Punk’s return to WWE at the end of the show.

A surprise that no one knew about and which remained a secret until the last minute. CM Punk greeted the fans and the show ended like this, leaving a lot of questions about CM Punk.

WWE held a press conference with the media after the show and Triple H said he was happy to see CM Punk back in WWE:

”It’s one of those things that happened very quickly. But we’re very excited about it. It’s been a long time, a long time that this was supposed to happen. Whether we like it or not, positive or negative, people are always talking about it. He is someone who creates discussions, and it is difficult to avoid that. And to me, if our fans want it, if the WWE Universe wants it, it will go. It happened very quickly, which is why it was kept so secret. […]

It happened suddenly. It’s been a long time, almost 10 years. If you’re the same person you were ten years ago, it’s a waste. Everyone changes, everyone grows. I grew up, he grew up. It’s a different company, it’s changed too. As for CM Punk’s future, I can’t wait to see what it looks like. This will be an exciting journey for everyone and the WWE Universe. “I’m happy to see him home, it’s the place he deserves.”

Triple H explains that he was not pushed by anyone at TKO to make this decision. A Punk contract signing was arranged between Triple H and Nick Khan last week.
