John Cena opened a big door during Money In The Bank by hinting that WWE could be producing WrestleMania in London, UK. The words were not followed by any official WWE announcement or confirmation of the date for future WWE shows in the United Kingdom.
So, is the project real? On paper, it doesn’t seem like that since Triple H opened up at a press conference following Money in the Bank and was convinced to announce “Never Say Never” about seeing WrestleMania in London as he said:
“I’ve been coming here since the early 90’s and it’s amazing. My favorite shows and my favorite moments happened here. We’d do the mutiny here and it was always nice. For WrestleMania it’s hard. I would say it’s easy and you can do PLE in a lot of places. But I can say this, if we look at 2023, three out of the last four PLEs have been international. It’s not a common thing. The Elimination Chamber, Backlash, Night of Champions shows are all sold out. We’re an international business and we want to keep it going. “We never say never. It’s harder than it sounds, but the intention is there.”
So WWE intends to do WrestleMania in London, but unfortunately there will be no concrete announcement over the next few months or so.
