It is Friday, December 4th, in Barrow, that the Sétoises and Sétois teams were able to discover this new equipment intended for new sports practices for young people.
Many in the audience let their breaths and stare widely. During the inauguration of the space for junior sports in the Barrow district of Sete, on Saturday 4 December, corpses flew and jumped, before settling in the air, then moving at full speed playing with the laws of weightlessness and installing furniture in the new town hall.
The mayor of Sete, François Comines, joked about the topic of over-pronouncing athletes who had just staged a demonstration. Au côté de Sébastien Denaja représentant la présidente de Région et de la sous-préfète Emmanuelle Darmon, entouré d’élus municipaux junior et senior, il a présenté ce nouvel équipement, cofinilleancé le sports par la Vestè Area. One million euros was allocated for the renovation of the building (on the site of the old bowling alley) and 150 thousand euros for the purchase of equipment.
He described the various spaces and sports associated with this new 800-square-meter site.2 : Breaking, Parkour, Steet Workout, but also for boxing, with a new room where the ring must arrive for Christmas and Judo. Places that all participants can visit and even experience (doors open during the afternoon will be determined).
The Seite and the outside athletes who made the trip anyway were amazed during the demonstrations, in all sports. François Comine especially thanked Nabil Zeroual, of IronBar’s 34, who was involved in the animation, along with many of the other structures in Set. And remember that Sete, if today one of the only three cities in France with such equipment, is also owed to its history. In fact, the mayor paid tribute to many families from Sete (Rakroki, Krum, Vina), whose children, already 30 or 40 years ago, on the island of Thao, practiced urban sports, as yet unnamed.
The children who danced with great force, the young men who climbed metal structures to come back down, who flew over cell phones, are their heirs.
