An alert notification was sent to the phones of many residents of the Lanaudière area on the night of December 25 to 26. What is this pilot project that has been in effect for nearly a year?

Launched on January 23 and valid for one year, the SILVER Alert pilot project is an initiative of the Ministries of Health, Social Services and Public Safety.

Sending Silver Alerts, in place in three HR centers in Abitibi-Temiscaming, Llanaudère and Central-du-Québec, helps find missing people with a major neurocognitive disorder more quickly, notes the Sûreté of Quebec (SQ).
