MotoGP – Australian GP Sprint will not take place

The weather certainly played many tricks on the Australian Grand Prix schedule. Although the decision was made to take maximum precautions to prevent inclement weather from disrupting the race to advance the sprint by an hour, the rain came and made any competition impossible.

Only the Moto3 race was fully contested this Sunday, with the Moto2 race being interrupted after nine laps, with strong winds and water on the track threatening the drivers’ safety.
