The pump track at Domaine du Tornet, which has been in operation for a few months, is officially opened. This Saturday, April 29, Mayor Severin Mugnier, accompanied by a few town councilors, district councillors, representatives of the companies that created this leisure track and members of the young town council, stated that “the will of the municipal team was the commitment to act in the interest of young people and to return the family to the heart of Activities The Tornet Recreation Center was very quickly identified as a space with great potential.”

True to form, this pumptrack has been a real hit since day one of its opening, with families coming to ride their mountain bikes, BMX, balance bikes, or skateboard. Two loops and three levels have been created so that everyone can start: one of 91 meters for beginner levels and another of 190 meters for intermediate levels on the blue course, and expert levels on the red course.

Of course, this new recreational area is made possible by the commitment of the financial partners: for the Prefecture 136,975 euros, for the Haute-Savoie department 50,677 euros, for the Bank of the Provinces 6,480 euros, knowing that the total cost of the work is about 725,000 euros.
