Genshin Impact 2.1 pre-downloads are open today to prepare for the upcoming “Selenite Caress on Mortals” season. Most of you are now familiar with this practice but for new travelers here are the methods available.
First, if you are using a computer, it will be enough to update your launcher. For this, next to the Start button you will see an option to Pre-download. Once this is done, you will just have to restart the launcher on the day of release of version 2.1.
Then iOS and Android phones. First of all, be aware that you will not be able to play during the pre-download, so remember to schedule it at the right time. On these platforms, two ways await you: the Paimon menu or the Home button.
First, go to various settings and select the option “Pre-download resource pack”. Otherwise, go to the login screen and click on the “Preload Resource Pack” icon. Keep in mind that no matter which method you choose, iOS users will also need to go to the App Store to update the app when the new version is launched. People using Android will be able to launch the game directly and follow the on-screen instructions.
