FIFA World Cup 2022 – Qatar: Group update by group in the qualifiers

Group A from each of the ten groups qualified directly for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, while Group B qualified for a play-off, along with two teams drafted by the latest Nations League standings. The play-off draw on November 26 will split the last 12 contestants into three lanes, with the semi-finals and final at the end of March, and three additional tickets for Qatar.

Group A

Group G

The Netherlands will qualify if they beat Montenegro on Saturday and do not beat Norway against Latvia. Norway can be sure of occupying one of the top two places if it beats Latvia and Turkey and does not defeat Gibraltar.

group h

Russia will qualify first if they beat Cyprus and Croatia fail to beat Malta on Thursday. The Russians and Croats will surely finish in the top two.

The first group

England will qualify if they beat Albania on Friday and Poland do not beat Andorra, or if England draw and Poland lose. If Poland wins and Albania does not beat England, the Poles will surely take at least second place.

J . group

Germany, the 2014 world champions, could calmly approach a welcome to humble Liechtenstein on Thursday, as they already have their ticket to the Qatar World Cup. Second place will be played on the last day.
