Espace Culture et Loisirs d’Aureilhan (ECLA): Launching a cultural season full of promises! (Connected)

On Friday evening, September 30, 2022, Yannick Poppe, Mayor of Orelhan, and Richard Leduc, Municipal Commissioner for Culture, were surrounded by ECLA’s 2022-2023 cultural season partners, to whom they thanked heartily. Indeed, this beautiful program was presented simply and talentedly by cultural representatives: Laurie Laporte, President of the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture d’Aureilhan, Frédéric ESQUERRÉ, Director of the National Scene at Parvis and Mickaël DUCROCQ, Secretary of the Aureilhan Film Club.

Gathered in the ECLA Auditorium, at 24 rue Jean Jaurès, they presented the opening night of the season, in a friendly atmosphere and in the presence of a family and a cheering crowd. “This year, ECLA’s cultural season is eclectic, open to the general public, available, popular! Culture serves as a beacon, like education, to build citizens and make a republic: it is liberating, it shows the way to freedom and humanity,” said Yannick Pobe, recalling that “culture serves as a beacon, like education, for building citizens and making republic: it is libertarian, showing the way to freedom and humanity.” It awakens curiosity, imagination and open-mindedness in young people. »

The show was followed by a magical music show that the company subtly presented “We Don’t Care!”. Full of wit and wit, the performance sparked an appetite for entertainment in young and old alike. This evening concluded with an aperitif dinner prepared by MJC, decorated with an exhibition of paintings by Jerome Toffal.
