Cameron Diaz made the statement on “Lipstick on the Rim” hosted by Molly Sims and Ames Gormley on Tuesday.

She has her room, and he has his,” explained the 51-year-old actress, who has been married to Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden since 2015.

“And we have a room in the middle where we can accommodate our relationships,” she added.

Her unorthodox stance was supported by the podcast hosts, who warned that the statement could make her look bad.

“I already said that,” Cameron Diaz replied, saying, “There’s no need to be afraid of his opinions.” “My husband is so wonderful, I said that before I got married.”

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden welcomed their daughter Raddix in January 2020.

Although the actress has kept a low profile since retiring from acting in recent years, she has publicly praised her husband on several occasions.

“[Le mariage] “It was the most important thing I did in my 40s, and it opened me up in different ways,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in May 2016.

“It’s really cool. I didn’t think it was something I would do, and I don’t know if I would have done it if I hadn’t met my husband.”
