Andrade: I had to leave WWE to remember who I was

Andrade El Idolo made his surprise return during the 2024 Men's WWE Royal Rumble match at No. 4, and you'll find all the PLE results here.

Following this return, Andrade gave an interview with Byron Saxton where he was clearly affected by the events of his full-time return to WWE. Andrade said it was necessary for him to leave WWE :

''How do I feel?'' happy. I'm happy to be here, to be back. I needed to leave, to remember who I was. Now that I'm back, I know who I am. And remember, now no one can stop me.

Andrade decided to leave WWE in March 2021 and then join AEW when his non-compete clause expired. He finally ended his contract with AEW at AEW Worlds End 2023 in late December by losing to Miro.

A complicated passage for Andrade who clearly had issues with booking and the direction of his character. This complicated his rise in the company and forced him to withdraw from the screens several times. Let's hope he actually finds himself on the AEW side and is now happy to be back in WWE.

We'll have to watch upcoming WWE shows to see if Andrade does that or not On Raw or on SmackDown. WWE has not yet confirmed this information.
