Sometimes it happens to send a message on The WhatsApp We regret it later, either because of its content or because it was sent to the wrong recipient. For this, it is possible to delete a file Message Thanks to the “Delete for Everyone” feature. But, badly handled and thus clicked “Delete for me”, it was impossible to go back even then. The message has been deleted from the sender’s thread and remains visible to the recipient(s), with no option to delete it again.
From now on, it will be possible to reverse this deletion within five seconds, reports WABetaInfo. Five precious seconds allowing you to cancel the deletion and “delete for everyone” if you’re wrong.
Deadline for “Delete for Everyone”
The ability to undo accidental deletion is already in the rollout phase for desktop, Android, and iOS versions of Messaging. Started in August 2022, currently the beta testing phase has been completed and all features have been validated.
As a reminder, the “Delete for Everyone” function appeared in 2017 after complaints from many users. Then we had seven minutes to activate this deletion. This period has increased to sixty hours since last August.
