Toyota continues to distribute information regarding the next-generation 2025 4Runner. A new image shared today confirms that the SUV will get a Trailhunter variant.
Remember, this new adventure-ready version is available on the Tacoma midsize pickup this year. We also expect the 4Runner to be built from the same platform as the new Tacoma, a platform that also underpins the new Land Cruiser. Since the Tacoma Trailhunter will only be offered with a hybrid powertrain, this could mean the same for the 4Runner Trailhunter.
Other features on the Trailhunter Edition include unique shock absorbers, a revised front bumper for improved ground clearance, and crash bars.
We'll know more tomorrow, of course, when the 2024 Toyota 4Runner is officially revealed, along with a host of other details. Auto123 will be on site at 10:15 PM (ET) to reveal the object.
