The International Council of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River and the International Niagara River Watch Council will hold virtual public meetings in the upper Great Lakes region

Cornwall, ON And Buffalo, New York, August 23, 2023 /CNW/ – International Council of Lakes Ontario And the river Saint Laurent and the International River Watch Council Niagara It will hold two virtual public meetings, one in French and one in English, to share the latest projections of the lake’s watershed Ontario And the river Saint Laurent and discussing the installation of an ice boom in preparation for the coming winter. These meetings are essential for providing information about water levels and flows, informing council operational decisions, and listening to members of the public to better understand the impact of current water levels on their community.

The meetings will be held on the GoToWebinar platform. A question period will follow the presentation. Please register in advance to participate and provide your questions or comments during the registration process. Registration will end at 5 pm the day before the meeting.

The meeting will be held in French on Thursday, August 31, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
