Among the games shown yesterday during Sony’s State of Play, Stray had a special place. The game in which you play a cat has made a strong impression since its announcement and will be available this summer on PS4, PS5 and PC. If you’re an Xbox gamer and still want to enjoy the title, there’s still hope.

Stray exclusive temporary console
As was already announced during the game’s reveal, the Stray is indeed a temporary PlayStation exclusive console. The info is outlined at the end of each game trailer on the PlayStation channel, so it’s very likely that the game will come to Xbox later.
Note, however, that unlike some titles, the duration of the exclusivity is not mentioned here. This is an example case roller which was announced during State of Play in June and has a PlayStation console exclusive for six months.
As a reminder, Stray will be available on July 19 and will be one of the first games to be released directly in the new version of Sony PS + subscription. Additional and Premium subscribers will be able to enjoy the game at no additional cost since its launch.
That’s good news that contrasts a bit with the words of the publisher who doesn’t want their first party games to follow that path right now, as Jim Ryan pointed out. last March.
