Sentenced to pay their son $30,000 to get him rid of his pornography collection

43-year-old American wins lawsuit against his parents for getting rid of his collection of pornographic films and magazines, reports Watchman.

A Michigan judge has ruled in favor of 43-year-old David Werking, his parents will have to pay $30,441, or just over $38,000 CAN under the ruling.

The complainant returned to live with his parents for 10 months after the divorce. Then he moved to Indiana. After leaving the family home, David Wearing notices the disappearance of the boxes containing his pornography collection.

The 43-year-old asked his parents for an explanation, and his father replied, “Honestly, David, you’ve done a great service by getting rid of all this.”

Not satisfied with this response, so David Werking decided to sue his parents for damages.

The complainant claimed that his collection was worth about $29,000. During the trial, an expert was called to determine the true value of the lost property. So the judge concluded that just over $30,000 should have been paid to David Werking. In addition, his parents have to pay their son’s attorney fees, which are $14,500.
