Following the enthusiasm seen on the web, outdoor gear store LLBean opens its first branch in Quebec.
This is what the company announced on Friday in a press release. Quebecers who love the outdoors will be able to get what they need for their next trip by heading to the Promenades Saint-Bruno.
“It is an honor for LLBean to open this first store in Quebec and offer a personalized shopping experience to our customers here. Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville is an ideal location and gateway to many overseas holidays,” said company CEO Stephen Smith.
Founded around the world more than 110 years ago, the chain of stores created a sensation with the launch of its French-language website.
“LLBean’s arrival in Quebec created a sensation. Since then, consumer craze has spread. Thanks to the launch of the French-language website, LLBean sales in Quebec are already up 19% compared to the previous year,” the company added.
It should also be noted that 85% of sales in Canada come from Peel County.
