Listening to these 10 artists will improve your leadership

Listening to some famous artists improves driving skills, according to a study conducted by Autotrader.

The study tested motorists, who were exposed to 20 famous artists while testing their “hazard perception” on the road.

“Higher scores indicate higher concentration levels, meaning participants identified and responded to risks more quickly while listening to that artist,” the researchers noted in their hypothesis.

The study showed that the best music to listen to to stay present and attentive while driving is Drake's music. “Participants in our study achieved an average score of 59.5 out of 75 while listening to Hotline Bling,” the researchers said.

Artists to avoid

It appears that two performers are being shunned to ensure good behavior. The researchers revealed that “neither Bach nor Megan Thee Stallion were useful artists to listen to in the car,” and participants scored an average of 42.5 and 37.5, respectively, when listening to these artists. The passing score on the test was 44 out of 75.

Listen responsibly

Although music is a great way to enjoy daily commutes, the study identified certain rules of behavior that must be followed to do so responsibly.

This should be done at an appropriate volume, as loud noise can distract the driver. It is also not recommended to wear headphones, as they prevent you from hearing external sounds.

You should also avoid changing the volume while moving, as this can be dangerous on the road.

These recommendations are based on the Highway Code of Great Britain, where the study was conducted.
