“Heart of the Police – Volume 2”, the new book by Marie-André Fallot, is particularly inspired by the adventures of a double agent during his forays into the world of crime.

Jean-Francois Guerin met him as part of the program “Dossiers en cours” on LCN.

“I always wanted to be a double agent,” admits Pat Bee, a former SPVM double agent.

“It’s a world of criminals that you encounter, you use the services of organized crime, but you’re not a criminal.”

He realizes that to do the job you must have a certain type of personality; “You have to be an actor, yeah. It’s adrenaline with a capital ‘A’.”

“There are always scenarios, Plan A and Plan B, but sometimes we go to Plan C. You follow your own scenario because there are people [de ton équipe] Who are watching you outside. You can’t deviate from that; We must allow them to do their job well.

The former double agent says he asked himself on several occasions during his career: “Do I insist on this or do I get out of here as quickly as possible?”

“In the 1980s, we left, and there was only two of us. We had a grocery list. We came home, and the list was on the desk. It was rock, paper, scissors, go buy [la drogue] there. “The situation has changed now,” he says. “The police have trained and are surrounded.”

“When you have confidence in your team, you will go anywhere,” says Pat Bee.
