The Los Angeles-based band, which includes lead singer Brett Domrose, drummer Rob Milhouse, and drummer John Wick, announced the release of their third studio album on Instagram on Wednesday.

We are excited to announce the release of our new album Somewhere between power lines and palm trees October 6th on our Dillon Street Records label,” the post reads.

The post also revealed that the first single from the album is titled Everything spins. A second blog post on Thursday posted a preview of the song’s official music video.

Dogstar formed in 1991 and have released two albums, Our little vision In 1996 and Happy ending in 2000. The band opened for David Bowie at his concert at the Hollywood Palladium in 1995 and resided at Glastonbury in 1999.

The musicians performed at The Roxy in Los Angeles on Tuesday, after their performance at this year’s BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival. The trio is set to embark on a 25-date tour of North America and Japan in August.
