Jennifer Lee Dupuy will honor Melanie Renaud at the upcoming Dynastie Gala

Singer Jennifer Lee Dupuy, who is seen headlining the musical Bodyguardwill pay tribute to Melanie Renaud during the cultural evening at the upcoming Dynastie Gala.

She will be performing one of her songs in particular to highlight her contribution to Quebec music, but also to support the artist during her illness.

Melanie Renaud, who has incurable cancer, is set to release a new album in the fall.

In total, more than twenty artists will perform on stage during the different evenings of Gala Dynastie, which will take place on April 21 in the Cinquième Salle on the Place des Arts and on April 27 at the Théâtre Maisonneuve.

During the premiere, actress and author Catherine Soufront will present an information evening, a change is Gonna Come By Sam Cooke. Täbï Yösha and DJ KidCrayola will also take the stage on the turntables during this evening.

The opening number of the second evening promises sparks. It will incorporate hip-hop, opera, classical music and rock. Obiora Band, young pianist Sim, SLM, Robin Brutus and Mafa Studio dance group will participate.

The evening will also feature up-and-coming artists, including Radio-Canada's Musical Muse of 2023, Joseph Sarenhis, and Montreal singer Eve B.

Some of the builders of Quebec's urban landscape are also scheduled to be honored. Maryam, Barnev, Ya Setidon, Naima Frank, Nicole Mosoni, Maci Lavender and Scandal will participate.

The Médiaa evening, hosted by Naadei, will take place on April 21 at the Cinquième Salle on the Place des Arts. The cultural evening, hosted by comedian Jarihana Jean-Louis, will take place on April 27 at the Maisonneuve Theater.
