He could no longer be the arrested man in Laval

Investigators from the Laval Police Department (SPL) met that the 26-year-old man who was arrested during a demonstration in front of the Zara store in Carrefour Laval will have to respect certain conditions, including not being present in El Jesus.

Thus the final assessment resulting from the event that occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 26, in the middle of a sale Boxing dayremains unchanged.

Therefore, the young man who was arrested after attacking an SPL agent was released under certain conditions that must be respected.

The results remained the same for the demonstration, where a 26-year-old man was arrested once. He was received by investigators and released on conditions that must be respected, including that he not be in the Laval region.

Let us remember that a pro-Palestinian march to protest an advertising campaign for the Spanish brand Zara turned into chaos when at least one demonstrator attacked a police officer in front of the Carrefour Laval fashion store.

It was around 2pm when about a hundred people, some of them masked, gathered in front of the Zara store in the Laval shopping centre.

The Laval Police Service (SPL) quickly sent 13 pairs of officers, one sergeant and one lieutenant to the site in order to calm the crowd of protesters.

Unfortunately, some of them allegedly started pushing the police officers, while they were asked to disperse quietly, while other demonstrators began to exit through the doors, returning to the gathering place after borrowing other entrances.

At around 5 p.m., one protester was formally arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer and participating in an unlawful assembly.

When news of the arrest spread among the protesters, most of them began to leave the area for good, but instead others headed toward the Carrefour indoor parking lot and damaged vehicles.

At 5:45 p.m., protesters continued to cause trouble on different floors of the Laval Shopping Center indoor parking lot.

As a precaution, SPL then sent two police officers to each entrance of Carrefour Laval until it was closed.
