Espace MUNI – Launching a Call for Applications for the Espace MUNI Awards 2022

Espace MUNI is pleased to launch its call for applications for the 2022 edition of the Espace MUNI Awards. Once again this year, municipalities from across Quebec who have put forward inspiring initiatives as well as someone who has distinguished themselves by contributing to the development of a living environment conducive to the well-being of the community will be rewarded.

The Espace MUNI Awards aim to provide a general appreciation of municipal actions or a person who has made a positive impact on his or her community while inspiring municipal actors and actors. Municipal initiatives can be recognized by two award categories, ‘Living Together’ and ‘Collective Intelligence’, while the individual is recognized by the ‘Committed Leader’ category.

Last year, 6 winners were honored, and the 2022 edition suggests the same number. Communities have developed many very inspiring initiatives in response to the effects of the pandemic and have a real chance of being ranked among the winning initiatives. In addition, these initiatives will be included in the list of new inspiring measures presented by Espace MUNI thanks to the new version of the digital platform. 1001 measurements.

Municipalities, RCMs, neighborhoods and agglomerations are invited to submit one or more applications online now at spacemuni.org and this is, Until April 8, 2022 at 5 pm.

The jury, made up of Espace MUNI board members representing municipalities of various sizes and regions in Quebec, will select the beneficiaries during the spring of 2022. Espace MUNI will benefit from holding its annual general meeting, next June 16, to roll out the red carpet and reveal the culmination of municipal initiatives.
