A month after its release at the Toronto Film Festival, the film was screened happy DaysDirector Chloe Robichaud’s third feature film was shown in Montreal on Monday evening at the Maisonneuve Theater on the Place des Arts.
The director walked on the red carpet accompanied by the stars of her film, including Sophie Desmarais, Nour Belkhairia, Maude Guerin, Sylvain Marcel, Vincent Leclerc, Yves Jacques, Catherine Levac, Jean-Philippe Barel-Girard, and Ariel Charest.
Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin, who was involved in the project as artistic advisor and musical advisor, was also present at the screening, along with members of the Metropolitan Orchestra who appeared in the film.
Chloe Robichaud’s third feature film (Sarah prefers running, country), happy Days It tells the story of an up-and-coming young bandleader (Sophie Desmarais) who has a toxic relationship with her father and agent (Sylvain Marcel). The film opens across Quebec on Friday.
