Canadian tennis players Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov reached the second leg of the men’s doubles quarter-finals at the Indian Wells Championships without playing on Sunday.

The duo benefited from a duo package consisting of Briton Cameron Norrie and Austrian Lucas Midler.
“FAA” and “Shapo” will have to wait until Monday to find out who their next challenger will be. They will face the winners of the duel between the Indian duo Rohan Bopanna and the British Matthew Ebden and the team of Bulgarians Grigor Dimitrov and Paul Hubert Hurkacz.
Auger-Aliassime is still part of singles competition. He will face Argentine Francisco Sirondolo on Monday. For his part, Shapovalov lowered his flag in his first match. The Frenchman Ugo Humbert fell.
Earlier today, Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and fellow Brazilian Luisa Stefani defeated American duo Asia Muhammad and Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 in the sixteenth round.
In the next round, the Maple Leaf actress and her partner will have a date with Chilean Alexa Guarachi and New Zealander Irene Rotliff.
