Adele interrupts her program to honor Celine Dion

The British singer wanted to pay homage to her predecessor at Caesars Palace.

Adele, who recently began her residency at the Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace, took a few moments during last week’s show to pay homage to the person who has occupied the same stage before her, the patriotic Celine.

“This week we have devastating news about Celine Dion’s health, which is absolutely heartbreaking,” said the English singer, emotionally.

“I saw him here, this room was built for Celine. I would like to wish him a speedy recovery. It is one of the best performances I have ever seen, so we have to sing it out loud tonight, hoping that you can hear it wherever it is.”

Remember, at the beginning of December, Celine Dion announced that she suffers from Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.

Because this disease causes severe stiffness of the muscles, our Queen cannot use her vocal cords at will, and has as a result been forced to annul all her engagements.
