An employee at a Costco store in Clovis, California, found an envelope containing $4,000 (CAD $5,400) and then returned it to a customer found using CCTV footage.

John Sotelo was moving crates of bottled water when he saw the envelope, CNN reported.
The employee wasted no time after realizing the content of the message and immediately informed his superiors.
They were able to find the customer using security cameras and her Costco membership card.
The woman entered the store and was able to get her money back.
“It’s crazy, because when my supervisor took me outside, the lady was there and shook my hand for 20 seconds,” Sotelo said in an interview with CNN. “I’m so glad you found it because it will help my children go to school,” she told me. “I told him I was happy to be able to help him.”
This good deed allowed John Sotelo to be named Employee of the Month at his store.
