The women’s national hockey team is in Group D for the World Cup to be held in Spain and the Netherlands in early July.

LShe knows the other three nations that will meet in the group stage of the next Women’s World Cup of Hockey, co-hosted by Spain and the Netherlands, from July 1 to 17.
Belgium, the 7th nation in the world, advanced to the 4th and final group of four each (Group D), with 1st round rivals Australia (FIH-4), Japan (FIH-10) and the South. Africa (FIH-16), according to a draw organized by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) on Thursday afternoon in Teresa, Spain.

Teams A, Netherlands, title holders and B will play in the 1st round at Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam, a suburb of Amsterdam.
The Red Panthers, who won the bronze medal at the last Euro 2021, need to finish 1st in their group to avoid cross-overs allotted to the 2nd and 3rd teams. These, depending on their classification, will be played in Spain or the Netherlands, similar to the quarterfinals. If they find themselves in cross-overs, the Belgians will play against the 2nd or 3rd Pool A team in the Netherlands.
At the 11,500-seat Olympic Stadium, only the semifinals and finals will be held exclusively in Terrazza.
