We’ll have a new Superman

After dressing as Superman for four films, actor Henry Cavill announced on social networks that he would not resume the role of Clark Kent in the cinema.

This decision was made after discussion with director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran.

“I will not eventually reprise my role as Superman, despite the announcement to the contrary in October. This news is not easy, but that is life,” we could read in its posting.

He also appeared in the latest DC movie, Black Adams with Dwayne Johnson last October.

“A changing of the guard can happen in our midst. James and Peter have a world to build.”

He wanted to thank the fans and his teammates.

Compliment

“We may mourn for a moment, but we must remember that Superman is still alive,” says Mr. Cavill.

Director James Gunn explained on his Twitter account that this decision was made because the upcoming Superman movie will tell the story of Clark Kent when he was younger.
