A few weeks after the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy A24, there is already talk of the Galaxy A25.

A few weeks after the launch of the Galaxy A24, South Korean manufacturer Samsung is preparing its successor.

OnLeaks, a very reliable source, has released the first images of the upcoming smartphone: the Galaxy A25.

Simple yet effective design

The Samsung Galaxy A25 appears to follow a similar formula to its predecessor with a simple yet effective design. The selfie camera is housed in a teardrop-shaped notch, allowing for a nearly bezel-less display, though with a slightly wider chin underneath. The presence of such a chin indicates the use of an LCD screen instead of an AMOLED screen, which could curve closer to the edge of the device, but this has not been confirmed yet.

The diagonal of the screen should be 6.44 inches, which is a standard size for today’s mid-range smartphones. In terms of connectivity, the device is said to come with a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is an increasingly rare feature in smartphones.

In terms of device controls, the volume buttons and the lock button appear on the right side of the device. A notable feature is the integration of the fingerprint sensor into the lock button.

On the back of the Galaxy A25, we notice a three-camera unit. Extrapolating from common camera setups, we can assume that this unit includes a main camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera for wider shots, and a dedicated depth-measuring camera to help create a background blur effect or “bokeh” in selfies. A small sensor can also be seen, which can be a brightness or color sensor to help improve image quality.

It should be noted that all these specifications are based on notes from the leaked images and have not been officially confirmed by Samsung. Galaxy A25 can always surprise with unexpected features or functions.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A25 looks like a logical evolution of the A24, with potential improvements in the photographic field.

All that remains now is to wait for official confirmation from Samsung and see what the Galaxy A25 will really bring to the table.
