Sidney Crosby with the Canadian to end his career?

Sidney Crosby, 36, may be living out his final years in the NHL, but we shouldn’t necessarily expect him to finish his career with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

“From all the whispers I’ve heard over the past three or four years, there’s a strong chance it is [Sidney Crosby] Dangel said he is finishing his career somewhere other than Pittsburgh. Montreal is a team I’ve heard of [parler]and join [Nathan] MacKinnon with Colorado [serait une autre option]”.

The Penguins, who acquired defenseman Erik Karlsson this past summer to shore up Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kristofer Letang, are starting the season below expectations. If the playoffs start on Saturday, Penn will not participate in spring ball, as it is five points behind the last team drafted, the Carolina Hurricanes, in the Eastern Conference.

As for Crosby, his $8.7 million per season contract will expire at the end of the 2024-2025 season. Since the start of the regular season, the 5’11” forward has scored 17 goals and dished out 14 assists for 31 points in 28 games.
