Science Festival from October 13 to November 5, 2022 at the Eureka Media Library in La Farlède.

“Let’s Take a Walk in the Woods” for the Science Festival in La Farlède.

The forest is more than just a place for walking, it is at the center of many environmental issues and is thus the theme chosen by La Farlède for this 31st science festival. Around the exhibition, an outing and a series of conferences will make you learn more about it. Organized every year by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Fête de la Science is celebrated all over France and is a real event for all audiences.
This event is conveyed by the Department of Culture and Heritage of La Farlède which is fully in line with the dynamics by offering, from October 13 to November 5, a program that will not fail to satisfy the curious as well as the enthusiast.
This not-to-be-missed event is dedicated this year to an issue of central importance: climate change.

At La Farlède, this thinking invites you to travel through woods and woods because “to protect our forests is to protect our humanity.” Let’s walk in the woods …, the title of the Farlédoise event, and therefore invites, from October 13th, the public and schoolchildren to push the door of the media library, and enter it to get acquainted with the forest at their fingertips, thanks to exhibitions, treasure hunts, walks, workshop and conferences!

A program that once again promises to be rich in variety to spark the curiosity of as many people as possible. See the program instead!

“Our forests are burning and yet they are the source of many of our myths and legends. Our forests are not just carbon sinks, they prevent soil erosion, provide food for living organisms, and harbor stocks of biodiversity; they provide us with oxygen, freshness, and medicine; they rejuvenate us, they calm us. Protecting our forests is protecting our humanity” .

Trees are living organisms that are essential to life on Earth. They are wonderful, ancient, exotic or medicinal and they all have a story to tell. Perhaps identifying, discovering, understanding and managing keywords for a successful coexistence of inhabited spaces, biodiversity and forests…
