MONTRALAnd June 28, 2023 /CNW/ – Lamairesse of Montreal and Phil Marieand Valerie Blunt, County Counsellor Mary and a member of the Executive Committee of the City of Montreal, Sophie Muziroll, today alongside the Montreal Skating Society, a multifunctional space that allows the practice of this sport at the corner of Avenue De Lorimier and Boulevard De Maisonneuve Est. This space is also designed to be an accessible space for all residents.

The new multi-purpose area represents an investment of approximately $2.7 million and is designed according to an urban model with spaces for exercise and relaxation and enhanced with greenery. The old concrete surface has been replaced by a smooth granite surface of 900 square metres. Among other things, the space consists of a vast flat area to allow smooth circulation of snowboarders and modules to practice different techniques.
