In Hospital After Party: Young Man Terrorized And Tortured By His “Only Friends”

A severely drunk 19-year-old ended up in the hospital after a party. The Glenn County Sheriff’s Department in Georgia has opened an investigation.

On March 21, 19-year-old Trent Lerkamp was taken to the emergency room of a hospital in Brunswick by three “friends”. The latter gave their names to the staff and left before the police arrived.

The young man was covered in urine and paint, and was so drunk that he could only breathe six times a minute.

In a photo from March 21, Trent appears to be unconscious and covered in the material while four young men stand next to him.

The next day, the police searched a home on St. Simons Island. Evidence related to the investigation was found. About 20 youths have been identified in connection with the incident.

Trent’s father told the police that his son had indeed returned injured after spending time with this group of friends.

A few weeks ago, Trent’s dad said he had to take him to the emergency room because he had a “severe tear” above his left eye, an injury that required stitches.

On March 17, the young man returned home covered in vomit, paint, glue, and egg yolk.

According to the father, Trent “never goes back to normal” when he goes out with these friends, who will be his “only friends”.

A photo posted on social media shows Lehrkamp tied to a black chair with what looks like a stool on his lap. The photo was reportedly taken at the same home on St. Simons Island where the March 21 incident occurred.

A GoFundMe account was created to help pay Trent’s medical bills. Over $100,000 raised.

The FBI and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are currently assisting with the analysis of evidence collected from the March 21st incident.
