At the top of the ranking of the most powerful passports in the world for five years, Japan was eliminated this year, finding itself in third place. A new kid is making his way to the top of the list.
Now Singapore is at the top of the 2023 Henley Passport Index.
This ranking aggregates planetary destinations that passport holders can access without a prior visa, as indicated by the Henley Passport Index, whose passport strength index is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Asia has always dominated the top of the rankings, according to CNN. Singapore allows you to travel to 192 countries without applying for a visa.
In Europe, Germany, Italy and Spain moved into second place with 190 destinations to reach.
Next, Austria, Finland, France, Japan, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden allow travel to 189 countries without a visa.
Canada ranks high among the most powerful passports in the world according to the Henley Passport Index. It ranks seventh with 185 destinations to discover without a visa, just ahead of the United States which ranks eighth with 184 destinations.
In the last position of this compilation is Afghanistan with only 27 countries where Afghan nationals can travel without obtaining a visa beforehand.
