Two schools kidnapped from the university:
The Haiti State University administration learned with “great pain, sadness and anger” the kidnapping of Professors Robert Bean-Aimy Moblessier and Jean-Raoul Moblessier of the Faculty of Sciences at the beginning of the week.

Thursday, December 16, 2021, the kidnappers released Maxo Ambroise, the deputy mayor of the town of Cornellon/Grand Bois, who had been kidnapped on December 13 in Croix-de-Bouquet, for ransom.
