Plates and ceramics go hand in hand with acoustic installations. “We see the full diversity of artists’ worlds in Le Séchoir,” said Mathieu Stahl, who exhibits abstract paintings, in appreciation. “I love seeing the different creations of the resident artists, it feeds my thinking. Le Séchoir is a space for confrontation and sharing. »

Among the artists are Violeta Fink Ceramics, Julien Potier presents a sound installation in which it will be possible to listen to sounds under the speakers of an old hair salon chair, Sabine Mugnier’s figurative paintings of trees reconstituted from collages, and Vincent Campos’s prints and ceramics.

“Their artistic proposals are wonderful and thoughtful,” confirms Matthieu Stahl. “It is raw art, and these people with disabilities have a strong and reasonable artistic approach. It is amazing and this human exchange between artists is wonderful.” They will soon be allocated more space at Le Séchoir, and they are happy about this project that combines art and humanity.

Sandrine Stahl will show a solo exhibition from November 3 to 26 under the title The seashore between shapes and abstraction while Runspace will give carte blanche to Fred Bullitt (from September 15 to October 22) and then to Alexia Trawinski.

Le Séchoir is also organizing three evening events with workshop visits, signings and concerts, on October 14 with Fred Bullet and Gil Coronado, for the editorial project. tiles on November 17 with the presentation of several books by Le Séchoir’s resident artists, such as Olivier Chappelle’s collection of poems illustrated by Sandrine Staal, and the return of Emmanuel da Silva who will present his new album during a concert on November 19.
