The brand chose the social networking site Weibo to officially reveal the design of its OnePlus 12 phone through a series of photos and videos. On this occasion we discover the history of the introduction of the smartphone.

There are only a few days left to wait before the proper presentation of the OnePlus 12. To keep us waiting, the manufacturer lifts the veil on the phone’s design with particularly polished photos and video.

OnePlus 12 from every angle

Through a series of posts on its official Weibo page, OnePlus is revealing its future high-end smartphone from every angle. The video shows the phone looking like a luxury watch, finally revealing the camera block. The latter consists of three modules, including a telephoto lens that provides 3x zoom. We also see that the LED flash is outside the circuit.

The brand renews its partnership with Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad. But the most notable change in the design concerns the “Wake Slide” button, which is a trademark of OnePlus smartphones. The location of the respective button changes, which allows you to switch between different sound modes. It will now be located on the left edge of the phone.

A carefully considered change on the part of OnePlus aimed at improving the phone’s network quality:

“Based on internal testing, it has been determined that the optimal placement for the gaming antennas is between the user’s index finger when the phone is held in landscape orientation. However, the space is currently occupied by the alert slider on the OnePlus 11. By moving the alert slider to the other side of Phone, better gaming antennas could be deployed on the OnePlus 12.
