Thanks to the impressive Alexis Lafreniere, the New York Rangers came from behind to win 4-3 in a shootout against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden.

It’s the top of the 2020 draft class that tied the score at 3-3 with 11 seconds left in the third period (Watch in the video above). Lafrenière took advantage of a pass from teammate Chris Kreider to push the ball home. This goal was his second in the match, which allowed his team to take a temporary lead in the second half.

A sign of his great confidence, the Quebecois player scored the winning goal in the shootout thanks to a brilliant overhead kick that left Elvis Merzlikins no chance.
