You may have noticed that the airwaves have been missing a distinct voice for the past year. That's because Steve Coogan's legendary Alan Partridge has been working in Saudi Arabia for the past 12 months. But his time abroad ended and Partridge returned to England, his return document A A new BBC show.

Also known as And Did Doth's Feat… with Alan Partridge, the six-part show will follow Partridge as he tries to reintegrate into life in the United Kingdom. This will lead Partridge to become a champion of mental health for middle-aged adults, while also exploring other topics. “Home life, professional life, the importance of nature, relationships, hobbies and the sixth topic he has not yet elaborated on, because he is a real journalist, and not just a sausage machine churning out contents.”

Of his return, Partridge said “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys vast reserves of oil and natural gas, but it has also experienced economic growth in other sectors such as agricultural production, retail trade, construction and transportation. The show will come to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, although an exact broadcast date is yet to be confirmed.
