MJF was unable to keep his promise to Adam Cole as he lost the ROH tag team titles.
MJF and Samoa Joe were scheduled to defend the titles against two masked men from the Devil's Group on AEW Dynamite on December 27, but MJF was left alone as Joe was attacked before the match. After cheating with a steel pipe, MJF lost the match and the tag team titles.
MJF found himself attacked by the entire clan after the match, but Samoe Joe came to chase them out of the ring with a chair, but not for long. the Satan appeared on the TitanTron to thank Joe for his services Samoa Joe hit MJF in the back with a chair:

Samoa Joe will face MJF at Worlds End for the AEW World Championship on Saturday, December 30, 2023 and will be Stream on TrillerTV (formerly FiteTV). You can see the final map at this link.
This drastic change from Samoa Joe who appears to be part of the Masqué set changes the situation for Saturday.
