A few years ago, the Committee on Health and Safety at Work (CSST) became the Committee on Standards, Equity and Health and Safety at Work (CNESST).
We wanted to know how much it would cost to change this name. It's still great. Posters, emails, letterhead, papers, banners, etc.
The response we received from the organization's media relations: $64,505.
This doesn't seem like much to us. We have therefore followed the law by submitting a formal request for access to the information.

After a month of waiting, we were informed that we would not receive a response.
We were told that the entire budget is included in current expenditures and that the public should not know about it.
This was the first time I had seen such a response. It is as if the organization does not have to justify expenditure costs provided it respects its overall annual budget.
