Just under three months before release Sand Dunes: Part Twoscheduled for 1any March The third trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s film was revealed on Tuesday afternoon.
Over the course of 2 minutes and 40 minutes, we see numerous images of the amazing action and the entire cast led by Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, who play Paul Atreides and Chaney respectively. Their relationship is the heart of the trailer, as the latter explains to the hero with prophetic visions that all are equal in the Fremen people and that they will fight to defend Arrakis from House Harkonnen invaders.
In addition to the young and returning cast of Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Charlotte Rampling, Stellan Skarsgard and Stephen McKinley Henderson, we add the excellent Austin Butler – terrifying as Vid Rotha -, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux.
Once again, Denis Villeneuve and John Spaits co-signed the script based on the legendary novel by Frank Herbert. The Quebecois director recently mentioned in an interview that he is writing a third film inspired by the life Messiah of the Dunes, is in progress and dreams of making it happen. He noted that for his “sanity”, he would likely film another project before completing the trilogy.
