January 26, 2023: The University of New Hampshire publishes a Public opinion poll Ron DeSantis gave 42% of the voting intent among voters most likely to participate in the Republican primary for the 2024 presidential election, ahead of Donald Trump (30%), Nikki Haley (8%) and several other potential candidates, including some who decided not to participate. Run for president.
Six months and a day later, here are the results of a St. Anselm College poll showing the free fall of a Florida governor in this state who could play a major role in choosing the next GOP presidential nominee:

Can DeSantis stop this fall and catch up with Trump? Nothing is impossible. But this politician’s touch of streetlight charisma may have contributed to his unpopularity with New Hampshire voters.
