The Shekinah Ministry, supported by more than 100,000 signatures collected in just five days, is organizing an international peace march in collaboration with 200 civil society organizations, 350 pastors and more than 50,000 registered participants. In order to highlight the humanitarian and security crisis in Haiti, a press conference will be held on Friday, June 30 at 10:00 am, at 17 Avenue Lamartinière, Bois Verna (next to the Ministry of Communications).

there Peaceful rally, scheduled for July 9th, will be organized simultaneously in several states of the United States, in the ten departments of Haiti, in Canada, in France and in many other cities and countries. I’The event aims to achieve four primary goals :

  1. Publicly assume our responsibility to our nation as private citizens.
  2. Showing to the international community, and especially to the core group (USA, Canada and France), that Haitians in the diaspora and in Haiti are very concerned about the ongoing security crisis in Haiti.
  3. Calling for passage of the Anti-Collusion Act in Congress, which aims to combat gang collusion.
  4. We show our support for the continuation of the Biden Program and call for an extension of the Humanitarian Word program for more than two years, at this time of humanitarian crisis.

Media representatives are invited to attend the press conference to cover this event of crucial importance, with emphasis on the Organizing Committee headed by Bishop Gregory and Rev. Patricia Toussaint, Priests Bearers of the Tents of Glory.
