The Montreal Canadiens season is just one game, and some young players are already beginning to find a way to make fans and critics’ eyes widen.
This is the case of Guillaume Latendresse, who frankly admired young defenders of CH.
“He deserved it,” Latendris confirmed, speaking of Kayden Gohley, during the show midday blue pocket on TVA Sports. Not only because he has beautiful eyes.
“Guhle and (Jordan) Harris, I put them on roughly the same level. I think they were amazing. It’s not a comparison I’d make, but Eric Carlson, his best years with the Ottawa Senators, was touching the disc, he was conceding and jumping into the free space. That What I saw yesterday from Guhle.”
It’s clearly just a meeting and Latendresse knows about it. But the previous number 84 of CH adds to it.
“I can’t wait to see the shows on Tuesday on Long Island when there aren’t many people around,” Latendris continued. Or a Wednesday in Arizona where you gotta get your adrenaline, your energy. Not all stands give you as much as the Bell Center.
“The defensive team is young, but with these two guys I feel a little less nervous.”
