Roman Gomez and Damian Gonzalez, organizers of the youth space, work with young people on the topic of graffiti. “The goal after that is to show at City Hall for three or four weeks.” Young people have a choice: either they use the stencils provided by Roman and Damien (characters, words, animals …), or they make them. Next, they will apply the stencil to the wood, spray, cut, and install on the pallets. “We will teach them how to sand wood. We take care of the jigsaw pieces. And the guys bulge out.” In three sessions, the works will be completed.
During the Easter holiday
The Easter holiday program has already been drawn up. “The first week, in the highlights, will be climbing, a walk to Océanopolis and a cycling day in Pays Fouesnantais. In the second week, we planned tree climbing and an escape game in the media library and then in Concarneau. It is the young people who choose their activities. We will also consider creating an account on Instagram. In addition to a new registration system for Wednesdays and holidays.
The Youth Space is open to young people between the ages of 11 and 17. It is mixed but the number of registered girls is few. “It’s a shame we even planned a Zumba intervention.”
