Casting for the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” has been announced, and the adventure begins awry for the Coeur de Pirate. Not only did the singer miss last week's press conference, but she also confided in her fans that she was injured before rehearsals began.

Even before this unfortunate incident, the trainee dancer was forced to miss the press conference organized at the TF1 headquarters on January 25. If the new jury and eleven of the twelve candidates gathered around host Camille Combal, the Cœur de Pirate apologized for his absence via video. From her home in Canada, she photographed herself in front of the high wall of snow that surrounds her house and prevents her from leaving for the airport.

And looking at her latest Instagram Stories, it appears the singer – whose real name is Beatrice Martin – is still at home with her two children, Rumi, 11, and Arlo, 2. Meanwhile, other new stars of the show have begun rehearsals in Paris.
