A woman from Westfield, Australia, was filmed throwing her dog from a multi-storey car park.
The horrific incident, which occurred in April last year, was captured on CCTV at Westfield Whitford City Shopping Centre, north of Perth.

The woman was seen walking back and forth from her partner’s car to the edge of the car park before throwing the terrified Maltese Shih Tzu over the edge.
The little dog fell nine meters from his throw and was found by a member of the public.
A passerby, who assumed the princess had been hit by a car, took her to the vet, where she unfortunately had to be put down due to the horrific injuries she had sustained.

Its owner, a 26-year-old woman, later admitted the crime on Facebook and has since been jailed for 12 months.
The woman was also banned from owning an animal for 10 years.
Her 23-year-old boyfriend, who was present during the incident, was fined $2,500 and banned from owning animals for three years for not trying to rescue the princess.
Passing sentence, Judge Mark Millington said the woman left the princess to die in what he described as a “planned, premeditated and premeditated act”.
He said she showed a lack of remorse and constantly tried to shift blame and make excuses for her obnoxious behavior.
The woman admitted her cruel act on Facebook, saying she could not “live with the guilt”, but later deleted the post and told police her account had been hacked.
